About the Club

Following a meeting in Glasgow on May 4th 1885, Clydesdale Harriers was formed as Scotland's first amateur open athletics club with the object of "promoting amateur athletics generally and cross country running in particular" and we’re still going strong!

The Club caters for both male and female athletes of all abilities from the age of 9yrs upwards who wish to develop and reach their full potential, in a safe, structured and relaxed environment.

The Club has a number of Scottish Athletics qualified coaches available to provide a solid training foundation for both junior and senior members.

We promote all aspects of athletics from road running, cross country, hill running to track & field and compete in a number of outdoor track and field and cross country leagues/events each year.

Everyone is welcome to come to the next track evening to try out the excellent training facilities.
