    Last weekend several Clydesdale Harriers competed in the Loch Katrine Running Festival which incorporated a 10k, Half Marathon and a Marathon. We had three runners in the 10k. John Fox had a blistering run over the hilly course to finish first overall in a time of 38.30, followed by Alan Dick (43.02), and Bryan Powell (45.37).

  • News Report Week Ending 15 March 2015

    Last weekend Clydesdale Harrier, Hylda Stewart, ran in the Granite Way 10 Miler finishing in a respectable 1.20.42. The previous weekend Hylda ran a personal best time in the Bideford Half Marathon finishing in 1.45.37.

  • News Report Week Ending 15 February 2015

    On Sunday was the Kirkintilloch 12.5k which was over an extremely hilly course on country roads near Kirkintilloch. Marina McCallum travelled over and finished in a respectable 57.09 despite having some injury issues. The weekend before had Stuart Allison and Bryan Powell running in the Thames Towpath 50 Miler and both had personal best runs in 9h 29m.

  • News Report Week Ending 1 February 2015

    On Saturday 31 January in Kilmarnock it was the Scottish National Masters Cross Country Championships, which was for any athletes over the age of 40 and split into 5 year age categories. The first race was the Women and the Men 65+ who had to run two laps of approximately 6k (ended up being about 4 miles). Fastest harrier was Pamela McCrossan who finished 20th overall and 4th vet over 50 in a time of 29.11. This was followed by Bobby Young (1st over 70 and gold medal winner) in a time of 30.23, then Marina McCallum (14th over 40) in a time of 30.34.
