Last weekend was a busy weekend for Clydesdale Harriers. On the Saturday it was the Kirkudbright Half Marathon and on the Sunday it was the Edinburgh Marathon and Half Marathon. Results next week.

Last Thursday was the second in the Polaroid Eyewear 10k Road Race Series. This was the clubs' own organised race at Clydebank. It started and finished on the service road at the back of the Clyde Shopping Centre and went out through the Business Park into Dalmuir and along the Forth and Clyde Canal. A lot of the club members young and old helped out with marshalling the course but we still had a few club members running. Fastest harrier was Kevin Farmer who had a blistering run to finish in a personal best time of 35.10, followed by James Austin (35.40), Pamela McCrossan (39.57 and 1st vet over 50), Alan Dick (40.57), Bobby Young (42.09), Gus Cairney (43.00), and Colin Gray (49.34).

The previous weekend was the Lochwinnoch 10k which was a mixed road and trail race. Alan Dick had a good run to finish in 42.43.

This Thursday (29th May) is the third in the Polaroid Eyewear 10k Road Race Series in Dumbarton. Race starts 7.30pm.
