Last Saturday was the HOKA Highland Fling. This was an ultra race of 53 miles which started in Milngavie and finished in Tyndrum along the West Highland Way. In almost ideal conditions five Clydesdale Harriers took part, all running fantastic times. Fastest harrier was John Fox who ran a strong race to finish in a time of 9.58.18, followed by Heather Calderwood-Orr (11.02.49), Fiona McCue and Stuart Allison (both 11.15.25), and Anne Murray (11.33.12). Many thanks to all who also supported the race and the above competitors. (For pictures go to Photo Gallery on website)
